A big congratulations to the Barnett brothers Aaron, Zebulun, Eleazar for passing their exams last night. Zebulun and Eleazar passed their Tech while Aaron passed Tech AND General. We look forward to hearing you on the air when you get your call signs.
The really neat thing is there is a high probability that they will get sequential call signs!
Just a reminder and in case you don’t know the club has a email group! To join simply visit http://listmail.w5jas.org and follow the instructions on adding yourself to the group.
Also I still have @w5jas.org email addresses available for any current club member. Your email address would look like this email@example.com
If you are interested please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org and I will fix you up.
Due to our last club meeting being canceled because of circumstances surrounding hurricane Harvey, we will have a special called club meeting on Thursday 09/07/17 at the Jasper County Airport at our normal location at 7:00 PM
We have several hurricane related items to discuss before our next regular club meeting. It is important that as many club members as possible attend.
We will still have our regularly scheduled meeting and VE testing session on Sept 28th at 7:00PM
We had a very successful Field Day this year! Look for more details and pictures in the gallery coming soon!
